Dr. Kamena and his team are very pleasant! They do a very thorough job, and are always patient with any of your questions and concerns. Plus, their office has this very cool feature of having individual TV screens above you (while in the patient chair), so that you can watch TV while your dental work is in place. Even though I moved out of the area, I still am choosing to come to this office, due to their excellent service. Thank you!!!
I have been going to Dr. Kamena for a few years now. It was by chance that I ever started going to him. I was happy with my previous dentist, but it was always so hard getting an appointment or making changes for that matter. I heard from word of mouth (no pun intended) that Dr. Kamena was wonderful at what he did. His office did not disappoint! I never went back to my old dentist. I had no reason to. The front of staff specifically the office manager (Melanie& Celeste) are the sweetest, most caring & attentive staff ever. The dental hygienist's (Esther & Danielle) are so kind & thorough. I leave this place every 6 months with a clean smile. If you are searching for a new dentist/dental office this is the place!
Where do I begin. I've been going to Dr. Kamena for the last ten years and I can say that he is more than just a dentist to me. I guess you could say, his office is one of my safe spaces. The minute I walk into the office, I am greeted by the friendliest receptionist, who knows my pronouns, which makes me feel very comfortable and accepted, and I have a lot of them. Dr. Kamena is the most inclusive dentist in the Bay Area and I feel other Dentists could learn a thing or two about creating an environment where all persons are accepted. He should strongly consider doing regional trainings on DEI...Dentist, Equity and Inclusion. Sometimes when he is cleaning my teeth, I feel like he is also cleaning my soul while I'm watching HGTV. His staff is also very friendly, accommodating and accepting of who I am. It's almost like they have been on this journey with me. So, to all of my LGBTQIA2S+, I strongly recommend you give him and his team a try, you won't be disappointed.
