    I have always enjoyed the Home Depot Lemon Grove! Yesterday I stopped in to find a couple items I needed and Keith Wheatbread helped me out. He was kind, patient and exhibited excellent customer service skills. I would not hesitate to have him help me out the next time I'm in the store and want some information and/or help. Thank You Keith!

    Cashier told me Home Depot doesn't price match to THEIR OWN website! Weird & lame way to do business.

    By far, the least helpful Home Depot around. No one is ever around much less someone that is competent on in store products. If you can help it, find another location to go to.

    I was looking to do a cabinet makeover and I heard HD was able to help me out. I went into the El Cajon location and got signed up to have one of their consultants come out to my home and look at my kitchen. My appointment was made for 4:30pm on Saturday with Lorie Savidge. The day comes and it's about 4:05pm and her manager calls me and says she will be running a little late and will call me when she gets in the car to head my way. 4:45pm comes around and I hear nothing, 5:10 and nothing still. So I call the number to see where this consultant is. No on knows where she is and she had the nerve to check in saying she was already at my home! While on the phone with Home Depot she calls me and proceeds to tell me that she could come still and at this time it's now 5:28pm. I asked how long it would be before she got here and she said 30 more minutes. Ummmm ma'am you're already an hour late and you want me to wait another 30 mins?! She said that the first customer took 4 hours and that's what made her fall behind. When the email they send out say to have a time slot of 60-90 minutes saved for your visit. With the time she spent with the first customer she could've seen 2-3 customers. I told her no thank you because if this is how you all conduct business and think it's ok to be late and I haven't paid you, then ain't no telling how you'll act with my hard earned money in your hand. So the moral of the story is if you are looking to remodel anything in your home and it needs a consultant to come out get you a quote, don't go with Home Depot!! They like to waste your time and then don't even show up. I will be going with a way better company and my consultant was even early when she actually showed up.

    WE CANNOT RATE THE APPLIANCE SECTION HERE LOW ENOUGH! After 5 return trips and four INCORRECT deliveries, customer service only displays innaccurate, uncaring and irresponsiblity BY PASSING THE BUCK O TO THEIR COLLEAGUES!!! This place is the definition of UNACCEPTABLE and we should know as apartment managers. Spare yourself time and money and go elsewhere.

    Today I had to get stuff for my avocado tree I bought. The reason I'm giving a 4 star today because I like the cashier. Oh Linae I think that's her name. She works in the garden department and she is Filipino. Her customer service remains me of me. She gave me good tips on avocado. And her coworker that was with her is American American. She was very nice to. I'm still mad about my avocado tree dying. But the people are very nice and helpful

    Arrived at 6:15 am, shopped & bought wood & supplies for patio & a gutter system; Tried to rent truck for 1 hr @ 7:30 am on a Tues. They had only ONE vehicle left for $29.95 (NOT $19.95 as advertised.) Other vehicles were to be serviced that day or had already been rented out.) HD (Home Depot) has a new rental program in which they use your phone, uploads ur pic & the app verifies you. A FRIGGIN HOUR was WASTED trying to snap & upload my picture. We even used the worker's phone; we then took a picture outside for better lighting - NOTHING! HD's STANK system can't verify me; a Black, disabled woman w/a valid Calif drivers' license, who's phone number & address has been in HD's computer system for YEARS, and has spent a substantial amount of money ESPECIALLY in the past two months for motar, doors and paint supplies; who holds a HD credit card; has rented a HD vehicle in previous years & who only lives 5 miles away! HD refused to use COMMON SENSE and good old-fashioned paperwork to rent me the truck when their miserable APP FAILED. /// I then requested HD to deliver my items, but all the so-called managers were USELESS & claimed they couldn't deliver bc they had no trucks. I said, "Use the truck I'm trying to rent that your APP isn't allowing verification." She said, "Oh, we can't do that." I am beyond FRUSTRATED! I got up at 5 in the morning in order to shop for and get these supplies home. THIS created a domino effect in which I had to reschedule workers for my home projects. I'm hungry bc we didn't eat yet, hadn't taken my medication, I'm disabled, and I'm mad about the $29.95 Switch-A-Roo rental price; Mad they had so little vehicles when I called to confirm they had vehicles the night before; and wasn't told about having to show proof of ins & other bullshit either (WHICH LUCKILY I HAD W/ME) bc I never got pass THEIR LOUSY COMPUTER APP and wide range of incompetent managers. OBVIOUSLY, Home Depot's Rental App &/or A.I. System used to develop it is RACIST bc it somehow couldn't VERIFY my BLACK facial features via camera photo and my very VALID Calif driver's license. /// Home Depot, your new APP not working is NOT my fault nor is it my fault HD has been getting ripped off by thieves for tools, vehicles & rental equipment causing HD to utilize such a biased, racist app as policy that's punishing ALL it's loyal customers in the first place! // I requested my money back, returning all products we spent time shopping for, asking staff questions about & insuring the wood wasn't bowed or mildewed; grabbing extra paint and the right primer, etc. It's now 8:45 am. I left a VERY unhappy customer; my day ruined. // We passed by a UHaul Center, asked if they had trucks available (which they did bc it was a TUESDAY), and the cost was only $19.95 for the DAY, plus mileage. GOOD TO KNOW. My brother and I ran other SCHEDULED errands, and around 10:45ish, he reconsidered the WASTED TIME picking out the best wood & wondered if HD had restocked our items that were left on a cart. I took him back to HD, he spotted the cart with other crap piled on it, so we hurried to UHaul. We had to be done by 11:30 bc my brother had a dental appointment. After waiting in line we discovered UHaul ALSO had a rental app where it entailed the taking of a photo of me and my license from my phone. I was so OVER This!! But Jerimiah, the UHaul Rep, took my phone, took my picture, uploaded and guess what? ALL THAT CRAP WORKED IMMEDIATELY. NO FLAWS. I SMILED like a Cheshire Cat! WHY in tf does UHaul have a Valid NON-RACIST, NO PROBLEM APP and Home Depot DOESEN'T? Isn't the PURPOSE of Home Depot having rental trucks is to get oversized heavy items to customers' homes?
