Ms. Charmie took the time to really listen to what I wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions, and absolutely nailed the result. The attention to detail was incredible; every step felt intentional and professional. I walked out feeling more confident than ever, with a look that exceeded my expectations.
If you’re looking for a place that combines skill, creativity, and top-tier customer care, this is it. I won’t trust my hair to anyone else!

I paid $516 for everything. I bought my own hair, I paid the deposit, I bought a nice product from this nice lady, and she did everything I asked her to do (+5 stars). However I am not in tune with the hair braiding experience so when I showed my mom my hair when it was done she wasn't pleased and said I was scammed (-1 star). I really think it was because of what I asked for and the combo wasnt a good idea but when I look at my hair, I do see some odd characteristics in a few strands. I will say I did not like the detangling and blowdry process at all (-1 star). I thought you were supposed to never detangle when dry. Other than that I I love my hair and I am very happy to have a protective style I wanted.

Very nice lady but EXTREMELY TO HIGH PRICED I didn’t ask over the phone how much a deep condition and hot oil treatment would be including getting 2 strand twist on my short natural hair because I know how much it is typically just to get weave or certain hairstyles so I wasn’t worried about a simple style and deep condition which was my fault! It came out to 330( including trim ) at the end of the day baby I could’ve got some box braids for that price this was not worth that much

I really enjoyed my time at Charmie’s salon today. Not only did she do an amazing job, but she scheduled me in for an urgent appointment because I had an unexpected event pop into my schedule. I appreciated her kindness and great conversation and man can she braid!! I am very happy and pleased with my hair. It has been a very long time since I invested $$ and time into taking care of myself and this was worth every penny. I look and feel beautiful, and that feeling is priceless. She had gone above and beyond and went and got the hair for me as well. Very happy! Thank you so much Charmie!

Very sweet lady but full transparency upfront is key for me as a client. For context, I really wanted to get my kinky twists taken out since I had them in for about a month. When I spoke with Charmie on the phone we discussed a consultation however, if I would have known that it would cost over $200+ just to have my kinky twists taken out (no other services) then I wouldn’t have showed up to the salon nor booked an appointment.
Due to this lack of full transparency in our initial conversation i lost my $50 deposit. I completely understand stylists and their businesses in needing to make money. I truly respect stylists and everyone has a different opinion on pricing. However if I’m asking for a kinky twist take down and you are aware that your starting prices are steep (for a variety of factors) regardless of what’s being asked then being fully transparent upfront in the conversation by naming this would be most helpful so no time is wasted between the stylist and the client.
Charmie overall seems like a great individual with a beautiful salon, just recognize that her prices are $$$ and up.

Charmie was a God send when we needed her the most. My 7 y/o's hair became a full locked up dread hard as a brick. I called Charmie and she was able to get us in same day which was on a Sunday night and got the job done. I still don't know how she got it out, but she did. She did her best to reserve as much hair as possible without cutting it all and was very patient as my tender headed girl screamed her head off the entire time. Charmie was patient and kind to us. We will definitely be going back.

First of all, THANK YOU Charmie! Detailed review incoming: for years I’ve struggled to find someone that specializes both in natural hair care AND BRAIDS ! I’ve been just wearing my hair in braids, letting it grow out for a month, rinse and repeat. Fast forward to last week (before seeing Charmie**), I wore my natural hair out for a week before seeing Charmie I felt as though I needed a trim. I called Charmie, she answered, & she was VERY patient with me (and I ask a lot of questions). I was quite transparent with her from the start about pricing, expectations, etc, and we worked together for her to accommodate my needs. I went there this past Saturday and left more than happy. Charmie ended up having to cut 4 inches of my natural hair (bittersweet for me) because my ends were so damaged and I didn’t even know !! I also did a wash, blow dry, and braids (temporary protection until I get my act together lol). Charmie’s services are an investment, so do come prepared depending on what you want. But this was needed… her hard work, speaking to me to ease my nerves, and finding a middle ground with my budget (within reason!) really made my experience top tier. Charmie has been doing hair since she was 12 years old. She can do just about anything hair related and she is a very wise lady. Her establishment is comfortable, clean, and homey. I did pay a bit more than I intended to, but it did not come as a surprise. Charmie you are a wonderful lady, god bless, and I will certainly be back!!
