I recently spent a week at The Pearl Laguna. I was blown away. It went way beyond my expectations. The food was superb, the staff was exceptional. My every need was met and then some. I was totally pampered.They also challenged my fitness level but I saw amazing results. The guides were very accommodating. They tailored my hikes to my limited ability and skill, but they wouldn’t let me opt out. To my surprise, I could do it! And felt better for it.Same with yoga. It was new to me, but the instructors were extremely patient.Maybe it was the combination of massages, hot tubs and saunas, but I was never sore or achy. Or perhaps I can attribute it to the pampering I got while I was there.The whole atmosphere was one of warmth, welcome and serenity. There were fresh flowers everywhere. No detail was missed. From the cucumber slices for your eyes as you had a sauna to the beautiful way the table was set for your meals.I feel stronger both physically and emotionally since my time at the Pearl. I left feeling calm and peaceful and that feeling has lasted. I would not hesitate to go back.Thank you Katresha and Geo and your truly exceptional staff for a marvelous retreat.Food & drinks: The food was outstanding as well as beautiful to look at. And unbelievable experience. Great for the mind body and soul. Yoga, hiking, and a beautiful, almost vegan diet. all of this is accomplished with great thoughtfulness and style. Healthy and chic… What a fabulous combination.Rooms: Organic cotton sheeting on specially made mattresses that don’t contain any polyurethane, etc. Fresh flowers in my room upon arrival and even a patio with a view.
I just returned from my third visit to The Pearl and am grateful to Geo, Katresha and the entire staff for my transformative week.What a week: great hiking, power and restorative yoga, daily massages, delicious organic food and drinks, and the time to reflect and reset one’s mind, spirit and body.I left The Pearl not only mentally rejuvenated but physically much stronger and on a true high from the positive energy of everyone I met.
