Legacy Funeral & Cremation Care on University in La Mesa, CA, was excellent in providing exactly what our family needed for our loved one. Nick Bermudez was compassionate, caring and gentle as our funeral representative/director. When brain fog, confusion and forgetfulness happened during this turbulent time he was never in a hurry and was thorough in explaining everything (no matter how many times we asked) in a calm and soothing tone. Our family definitely recommends this funeral home for a respectful and dignified experience for your loved one and your family.
It's hard to give a funeral service, any funeral service, five stars due to the nature of the business. However, Legacy was great and very helpful when my Father-in-law passed away recently. My husband and I had pretty simple needs but they did a great job fulfilling them and also gently mentioning things that we had never thought of but were truly necessary. Nick was especially great. We played phone tag at times but he was quick to respond by phone and email. Thank you Legacy for making this difficult time less stressful.
