Got into a bike accident last week and they refused to give me a bandage or disinfectant to clean my wound. Ask me to fill out pages of forms when my hands was clearly bleeding quite much. And required me to pay 75-175$ just because my healthcare is not UC ship but still is at UCSD. The front desk attitude is terrible. I'd expect much better from a school this big and well-regarded in medical studies.

Ok, the pharmacy and the Optometry department here IS REALLY REALLY GOOD. The staff here (at least during the time of writing) is extremely nice and patient, and also they know what they are doing! Actually though, double the salary of the optometry staff, they are so passionate and caring in what they do.
Some of the staff here are rude, as I believe they are probably just overworked (looking at you, the front desk staff). Furthermore, as that one other review said, Esther Choi seem like a really dismissive(?) doctor, for a lack of better words. However (again), she DID give my the prescription I want after some explanation. She just seem dismissive... read full review

Don't have complaints about the doctors and nurses but the front desk system is an absolute mess. They send you like four messages the week before telling you to complete the online check-in then provide absolutely no information about what you're supposed to do once you get there. Apparently you need to check in again even though there's an online check-in procedure, but no one at the front desk said anything about this and I ended up waiting like an idiot for 30 minutes before someone in group 2 telling me they moved the doctor to group 1 for god knows what reason. This was the last appointment slot on a Friday, the absolute least the people at the front... read full review
