Highly recommend Dr. Rothman. He took care of my son on his day off and saved us a trip to the Emergency Department. He went above and beyond and truly cares for his patients. We are very grateful.

Fabulous staff, always able to get seen immediately if needed by the Urgent Care located in the same office. Dr Lawrence Ma is my PCP and when I had my daughter and heard he was also a pediatrician I requested him as my daughters PCP as well. I couldn't be happier. He takes a general interest in the wellbeing of his patients and is always quick to respond to MyChart messages.

This place is ok. I had to come here a couple times because I was having issues with my eye (needed to get a referral with my GP) and then I had to come here again for a pap smear. They don't validate parking here and it is so difficult to get here since the parking lot is terrible. Otherwise the service is fine for what it is. I do want to say that I tried to discuss getting a bilateral salpingectomy because I don't want kids and the doctor I saw wouldn't hear of it, despite the fact that when I saw him I was 35 years old (already a grown person and considered "geriatric" if I wanted to get pregnant according to medical professionals) and had a live-in boyfriend (who is now my husband). It's all because I didn't have kids and I "could still want them" in the future. WTF?! I have a hard time understanding why people who do want kids seem to think they're more intuitive and knowledgeable than I am just because I don't. This is especially important to me given how women's reproductive/sexual rights are slowly being stripped away from me and all other women in this country. ANYWAY...a few years later my husband was able to get a vasectomy at UCSD Health in their urology department, probably because he's a man. Ironically he's a few months younger than me, but I guess he is more informed than I am! /s In conclusion I'm so relieved and glad we're never having children, but it's no thanks to the doctor I saw here.

They don’t care about your kid, they just care about money. Rude, slow to respond, impossible to get an appointment, not empathetic. Avoid.

Great staff and very accommodating. They take pride in their job and it's shows. Great hours, however, there is a line waiting at the door for early morning walk in's!

I had a wonderful experience all the way around from my OB care down to my delivery and available options. I was under the care of a OBGYN and switched over to the Midwives who were pretty decent with the exception of CNMW Yolanda Devereaux who was phenomenal all the way around. Overall I can say my experience especially as a WOC was not bad in terms of prenatal care and delivery. Now the ER department is another story for another day definitely could utilize a revamp.

The Best! I had heard wonderful things about UC San Diego Health, but truly, from the staff who made my appointment, didn't mind me calling to see how I was with a waiting list, to the front desk, to the medical assistants, to the nursing staff, to the excellent gynecologist who has a gift for explaining what was going on, I'm older, and all in all, a stellar experience! Don't wait! Call them!

My GYN is here, Dr. MacCaulay. She is amazing. She is on top of her game for Women's Health issues and Hormones. She also teaches and is very educated and kind. She listens to what is going on and then forms a treatment. I've been seeing her for years and highly recommend her. The Urgent care downstairs as their lab is also fantastic. I call ahead of time for urgent care and the lab gets you in and out fairly quickly. I've never had any problems at this center..

Do not listen to symptoms, will not suggest imaging to access problem, will deny imaging and biosphies of found problems on imaging, not knowledgeable about problems from symptoms, on a "time schedule" which doesn't include accessing your problem, will run you around in loops, treat patients in a "training center' without consent, difficulty in making appointments, no website that discloses doctors specializes, will just place you with whomever and alot of them aren't qualified.
