I have been a patient at Scripps Clinic since I was in college in 1973. I have never had poor service …ever. I have been to the urgent cares, I have been a patient in their hospital as well as Scripps Memorial and besides having a myriad of doctors, I had one doctor for over 40 years. I refuse to go anywhere else and I drive from Riverside County.
I can see where an urgent care visit would take longer. Scripps Urgent Care is almost like an emergency room. Sometimes it might be helpful to call ahead and find out how busy they are or try another location.

I would like to make a special mention to the Vascular Lab at the Geisel Pavilion. The check in employee Deveny, is one of the nicest staff members I have ever met at Scripps. She is professional and very efficient too! She makes that department shine!
Allow for plenty of time, the parking is a bit confusing, and this area is very busy! Take advantage of the ocean nearby for a great walk too!

The Scripps Torrey Pines support staff went above and beyond assisting me today. I entered the main clinic today and could not locate dermatology until I consulted with the receptionist. She explained that dermatology was in another building and noted my appointment was in 5 minutes. She immediately called the shuttle and in no time I was driven in a golf cart to the other building and was on time for the appointment. Thank you to both of these ladies. Scripps is lucky to have you!
