About UCI Student Health Center
The UCI Student Health Center offers a range of services for students. Some reviewers have found the service to be average, with repetitive questioning during appointments and a lack of time for proper treatment. The staff, including the pharmacist and phlebotomist Shahrzad, are often praised for their kindness, patience, and dedication to patient care.
Staff were impatient and rude.
It was my first time making an appointment there, and I wasn’t aware that scooters weren’t allowed inside. After I checked in, a staff member approached me and said, “Take it out.” I explained that I had already checked in and asked if I could park my scooter somewhere inside. The staff member became visibly angry and repeated, “You have to take it out.” I didn’t bring the lock with me, so I had to scooter home and walk back instead. worst service I have ever received, phone service is extremely rude, workers are condescending and seem like they hate their jobs. Workers are also unhelpful and make it extremely hard to waive ucship. Wish they would do better and hire workers who actually want to do their job with quality.
This is genuinely the worse health service I’ve ever had the PLEASURE to experience. I’ve had about 9 bad experiences here and it took months for me to get the treatment i needed.
There were three occasions where the doctors themselves no showed on me, forcing me to reschedule the day of. The center had not notified me of their cancellation, nor were they aware of it themselves, so I had the pleasure of wasting my time by showing up to three separate appointments to be told to reschedule.
Their referral system is horrible, their insurance reception via phonecall has been consistently rude, and their website is horribly designed as well.
