UCI Health Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute provides the best healthcare, with staff who are always kind and seem happy. The team helps set up a game plan so patients can be at their best. Major appreciation is given for NP Monica and MA Mark, who are both extremely thoughtful and caring through their healthcare approach. A gastroenterologist, Dr. Sachdev, is one of a kind, treating patients with supplements that really work and tailoring all protocol to each individual. One patient, 77 years old, feels better than ever after 18 months of treatment, able to eat everything and enjoy life without worrying about a gastro attack. The institute also offers a course in Spanish of Autocompasión (Self Compassion), which helps people speak to themselves with love, respect, and compassion, avoiding self criticism and harsh judgement. Patients are grateful these courses are offered in Spanish and English, and look forward to them being offered in high schools and colleges.
This is such a wonderful facility and I am so grateful it exists! Everyone is so nice, and the doctors are EXCEPTIONAL!!!
A special shout-out to Dr. Tan for being one of the best humans and providers I have ever had the privilege of knowing and working with. I cannot even begin to explain how much she has helped me, the fact that she literally knows everything regardless of the medical specialty, and how SO loving, compassionate, caring, and supportive she is. She consistently goes above and beyond. She will not give up on you, or give up on figuring out what is wrong and how to help you.

This is hands down the best healthcare I've ever received. My primary doctor is amazing, staff always kind and seem happy. With life being so chaotic and hard at time it's so refreshing to have a place to go to, that helps set up a game plan so I can be at my best. I feel extremely privileged to have a job that covers us with UCI.
