My mom is a vibrant 90 plus woman. Always looking for an actual salon for her has been a challenge. But I did take her to this amazing salon in HB Old World. The stylist was professional, we showed examples of what she wanted and the stylist Tam delivered! I can’t tell you the joy that this brought about to my mom. The people at the Upstairs Salon are professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable. She had a great time and I’ve already made her second appointment and will continue to bring her there. I only wish I did this sooner. Thank you stylists at the Upstairs Salon.

I got my haircut yesterday here by Jose and I am so impressed. They do an amazing job. I will never go to anyone else and I am so thankful because I have curly hair and I've always had people mess it up but he knew what he was doing I would go back and I was wearing him a five star +10. My daughters wedding is next week and Jose got my hair exactly what I wanted. I feel excited and ready to look like the mother of a bride should look. Thank you Jose! I will definitely be back!

So this review is not about the services rendered at the upstairs salon. Rather it is about the tenant's friend or associate. When I was parking in the Old World Village in a handicap spot (my wife has a placard for her CFS) for Oktoberfest. A senior gentleman from the outside balcony yelled out which of us is handicapped? The senior gentleman was mid 70s (guessing), overweight with a belly, bald, glasses, and white moustache. First off that's none of the person's concern. I responded and said "that sn't a politically correct question" and he said "F@#k being politically correct." Words were exchanged and he threatened, "don't make me come down there" and I responded "come on down". Anyway, this is a reflection of the tenant/owner of the salon. Mind the company you keep. The salon itself looks like it offers great services to it's clients, however I wanted to make known my experience with someone at it's place of business. This was also around 6pm so not sure if the salon was closed or if this was a customer (doubt it).
