“This was my first visit. I took in a suit jacket, tags still on it, that was too big and asked to have it tailored down. The owner pinned it up and I could immediately tell she knew what she was doing. Quick, efficient, and knowledgeable. But it didn’t look the way I expected and she could tell I wasn’t completely happy with what I was seeing. The cut of the jacket just wasn’t going to fit my new shape in a flattering way. She could have ignored my hesitation - instead, she recommended I buy myself a different jacket rather than paying what it was going to cost to rebuild this one. And I could tell she genuinely meant it. With absolutely no guilt, I changed my mind and left without having her do that work. She will have my business for a very long time.”
