I absolutely love the staff here, they are kind and work incredibly hard. It is clean and consistent. They do offer add-ons but not with a lot of pressure, which is great because sometimes I just need to get in and out.
If you are into IV therapy they also offer that while you get your nails done.
I have visited Ascend Spa twice, once at the Manhattan Beach location and once at the Hermosa Beach location, and unfortunately both experiences had issues.
During my first visit in Manhattan Beach, my massage therapist ended the session five minutes early and only realized the mistake at the end. I was essentially charged for a full service despite receiving less time than what I had paid for.
On my second visit at the Hermosa Beach location, I purchased the same treatment package, but the service was incomplete because the warm towel portion for the calves was skipped entirely.

Best place to get your nails done (Gel X and Dip). I’m a flight attendant and previous nail salons never made my nails last a week without one breaking. This place is top quality and the strongest Gel X I’ve ever gotten!!
