    I got my Zephyr range hood fixed by these guys today, and it went very smoothly. They were one of only two outfits given to me by Zephyr and after reading through these reviews I was pretty freaked out about what to expect. But it was fine. I called to set up an appointment yesterday. Someone picked up right away and got me scheduled for this morning "between 9am and noon." They told me exactly what the charges would be.John texted me a half hour before he arrived at just before 11. He was very pleasant and well-prepared. I had been working with Zephyr support (they were awesome) and we'd identified the problem. They sent me replacement parts already, gratis. I had intended to do the work myself (replacing the switch panel and control board), but the "elegant" design of the installation looked like it required special tools and a contortionist, so I punted and decided to call someone with experience. And that's exactly what I got. Watching John work made me feel that I'd made the right decision not to do the work myself - but he breezed through it in under an hour. It's working perfectly and I'm a happy camper. I would have given 5 stars, there were no problems, but the job didn't involve any parts ordering, I'd taken care of all that first.

    We were introduced to Appliance Heroes on a home warranty referral. He arrived promptly, within 48 hours of call-out, and completed the required repairs. Juan spent extra time to explain some maintenance issues to avoid future callouts that would save use money and increase the life of our unit.I'm keeping their card and will use them again.     If I had a choice, I would not have selected this contractor to fix my dishwasher, but I had no choice because I had their services via the warranty company. I received an email from the warranty company saying that someone from Appliance Repair Heroes will contact me within 24 hours to schedule an appointment, but I did not hear from them. So, I called them, but their recorded message did not have an option to talk to a person. Then, a couple of days later, the technician called me to notify me that he was coming on that day. When he came to my place, I was in the middle of the online meeting. He needed to order some parts, but I could not communicate with him because I was in the meeting, and I could not ask when the parts will be available. Since then, I did not hear from him for a couple of weeks. I kept calling them and emailing them, but no response. I also kept calling the warranty company and finally was able to know when the parts were arriving. Finally, the issue was fixed. But it took almost one month since I filed a claim to the warranty company. Fortunately, my household is small and handwashing the dishes was not a big trouble. But poor communication with this contractor was so frustrating.
