If you are wanting a relaxing massage, you are going to need to speak up and let them know that is what you are looking for. Their default is to get your body back to where it should be. This may mean a less than comfortable session, but from personal experience, you feel amazing long term. I have an incredibly stressful job and am pretty much a walking ball of stress with muscles that don't know the meaning of the word relaxed. The team here keeps me going.
