We discovered a long-standing slow leak issue in our downstairs office caused by the previous owners of our house who contracted California Closets to install cabinetry. Unbeknownst to them, California Closets nailed a cabinet directly into an outflow pipe attached to the upstairs guest bathroom years prior to us moving in! None of our inspectors caught this issue before we moved in because that area didn’t get a lot of use, so it was dry during inspections, and covered by other built-in cabinets (a hidden, nasty slow leak!).
