while traveling from Nor Cal to San Diego my little girl had some gastro issues that resulted in me seeing blood in her poop. it was 5:45pm
i was in Gilroy for dinner.
i looked up nearest vet still open and jammed over with her in my arms. as i approached the desk the sign said “apologies we are closing at 6 today” as i started to blubber my case the Dr. was literally on his way home. He stopped. went in with us and did an exam and gave me meds to soothe her issues- and took the fecal for a test. i am so grateful to the staff for accepting us so last minute. knowing i was traveling they still called the next day to check on my little girl.

When our cat became seriously ill, we were unable to get an appointment with his regular veterinarian. We also tried two other veterinary hospitals who were booked up, but we were directed to call PetsVet in Gilroy. After explaining the situation to the receptionist on the phone, she was able to get us in immediately. When we arrived she treated us with respect and efficiency even though it was a very busy day. The veterinarian who cared for our cat was exceptional and took all the necessary steps to give him the treatments and diagnostics he needed before being transferred to an icu capable hospital. Without these wonderful people we would have lost our beloved pet.... read full review

I had a wonderful experience at PetsVet hospital. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I received a lot of valuable knowledge on how to properly care for my pets, which I truly appreciate. It’s clear that everyone there genuinely cares about the well-being of our furry friends. Highly recommend!
