I got my dress altered from this place for a wedding. The lady who tailored the dress asked what I wanted which I explained to her. I suggested to cut the a bit lower but she suggested that it will not look good so I went with her recommendations. I specifically asked that I wanted the dress right by the knee. She didn’t make any measurements at all but since I have worn the dress previously, I knew that removing the section I asked her to do will give me the length that I want but the lady probably ended up removing more fabric than needed so instead of the dress being at knee-length, it ended so short now becoming at mid-thigh length. Took my bridesmaid dress to get taken in from the bottom (too long) and taken in on the sides and pull the straps back. I went in with the dress on a custom hanger the bride made for us. Came back a week later when it was “ready” and my hanger was lost. Told her I needed it back. And the dress still needed to be taken in. Came back two days later. And it was still loose but I needed and busy to keep coming back. $175 (felt over priced) the hanger was found. I go to the wedding and before I can even walk down in the wedding both my straps broke. Whole wedding and reception I kept having to fix myself so my chest wasn’t out for the whole 250 guest to see.
