About Seoul Health Spa
Seoul Health Spa offers a variety of massage and spa services, providing a convenient option for those in the South Bay area. Customers have enjoyed the massages, often describing them as effective and satisfying, especially when requesting strong pressure. The staff is capable of kneading out kinks and working out stiffness, with some clients mentioning feeling like a new person afterward. The atmosphere includes good music and attentive service, contributing to a positive experience. However, the facility itself is described as a little run down, which is the only noted drawback. One unique service is the body scrub, but reviews highlight concerns about privacy and comfort; the scrub takes place in a shower stall where others can watch, and scented body wash used during the treatment caused skin reactions for some clients. Price points vary, with some finding massages worth the cost despite high prices, especially for urgent needs. Overall, Seoul Health Spa provides a decent self-care experience, especially for clients seeking effective massages and a relaxing environment, though improvements in privacy and facility condition could enhance the experience further.
This was my 1st time ever at any Korean spa so I dont have anything to compare it to, but ill tell you about my experience. It was $30 to use the spa area. You can get a massage also. Its men only and its nude. The staff was nice. The overall experience wasn't bad i was feeling self conscious before I went in but once inside it was fine. It had a dry room and a sauna , a hot tub the water temp was fine, and 2 pools 1 felt colder than the other 1. And an area just to relax espn was on the TV. The overall experience was relaxing. If you ever been to a major gym. Its that vibe. If you're uncomfortable with the possibility of seeing someone body or self conscious...read full review
A nice mini jimjilbang that offers just enough to get your Korean spa on.
And to that I’d add patrons should be aware of proper etiquette at Asian spas. A few key points:
1. Remove shoes upon entry into locker room. No outside shoes in the spa just like no shoes entering a dojo. Use the slides provided or bring spa specific shoes to wear.
2. Shower and clean yourself thoroughly before entering any pool or sauna.
3. Shower between activities that promote sweating, ie. if you're in the dry or wet sauna and your body temp is elevated enough for you to perspire, shower thoroughly before getting into a pool or cooler activity.
4, Relax and enjoy...read full review
the warm jacuzzi wasn’t really warm, and the hot jacuzzi wasn’t really hot. great temp on the cold pool and dry sauna (very hot). some overly friendly spa goers, but it wasn’t oppressive. if you’re in the area and need a spa, this place will work just fine.
