About Gardena Women Sauna
Gardena Women Sauna offers a great experience at a reasonable price. The facilities are clean and feature various pools, including a hot tub, jacuzzi, and salt pool, as well as a steam sauna. The sauna also offers body scrubs, which are highly recommended. Visitors appreciate the helpful staff who explain everything and ensure a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The spa is women-only and has two floors: the first floor houses locker rooms and wet areas with hot, warm, cold, and salt tubs. The temperature of the tubs is praised for being just right—hot tub hot and cold tub icy cold, unlike other spas where water temperatures are often disappointing. The second floor includes a common area, salt room, jade room, mud room, and a sleeping room, with robes provided for upstairs use. The place is not crowded and remains quiet and super clean, making it perfect for relaxation. Customers love the traditional scrubbing treatment by experienced, matronly women, and many tip generously when satisfied with the thoroughness and gentleness. While the spa provides shampoo, body wash, conditioner, water, towels, and basic amenities like Kleenex and ear swabs, visitors are encouraged to bring their own towels for heat rooms and a small water bottle. The spa does not have a food court but allows guests to bring their own food or purchase noodles and coffee at the cafe upstairs. It is recommended to shower before entering the shared mats or hot tubs to maintain cleanliness, and outdoor slippers should be avoided in shower areas to prevent tracking dirt. Overall, Gardena Women Sauna is highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful, rejuvenating experience.
I went yesterday for the very first time I It’s was very clean and quiet loved that they explained everything to you, I had a body scrub and a full body massage combo by Joo She was very nice and helpful and did a great job. I will be returning loved everything about this place and everything they have to offer
I recently visited this Korean spa for the first time, and I was pretty impressed. The lady at the front noticed it was my first time and took the time to show me around, explain the rules, and tell me what to do. She was super helpful!
I really liked that this is a women-only spa. The spa has two floors. The first floor is where the locker rooms and wet area are. In the wet area, you’re naked, which is normal for Korean spas. There are hot, warm, cold, and salt tubs, and I loved the temperature of all the tubs. I’m super picky about water temps, and this place nailed it. The hot tub is actually hot, and the cold tub is icy cold. I’ve been to a Korean spa...read full review
Great place to get scrubbed down clean like my mom used to do for me when I was little. The ladies who work there are older matronly women who know the traditional way to scrub clean. Love that its female only spa, so I dont have to worry about men near me when Im sleeping alone in a room. If only if were Asian only. The non-Asian (culture) women are loud and kind of dirty. They don't shower down thoroughly, they just rinse, and they chat like needy chatty Kathys. I go to spas by myself to relax. Non-Asians go there in herds and its annoying when they're loud. Anyway, I like the scrubs and tip $20 if I feel the lady is doing a thorough job and gentle about it. They usually are, so $20 tips are given. The spa only gives you two hand towels and one large towel. If you're going to use the heat rooms, then you should bring your own towel if you can't stand the hot floor. This place has a salt bath at medium temperature that other spas dont have. There a cold bath, a tepid bath, and a boiling bath. You're not allowed to wear swimsuits but I would have liked to wear swim underwear because I dont want my skin to touch where other women sat. The bath amenities they provide are: shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. There's toothpaste in the bathroom, and Im glad they keep it there. At the Riviera, the women brush their teeth in the shower and spit on the floor. The spa provides water but may not have enough cups so bring a small water bottle with you. There's a blow dryer, and brushes for you to use, but I dont use the brushes. They also have kleenex tissue and ear swabs for you to use. There's no food court to eat, but you can bring your own food and eat at the tables upstairs that's next to a cafe that provide noodles and coffee for purchase. The locker rooms and bath areas are on the first floor, and the heat rooms and cafe are on the second floor. So shower first before doing everything else so remove your dirt and body oils before sweating out on the shared room mats, and shower before you go in the hot tubs. Dont wear outdoor slippers in the shower areas because you'll be tracking in dirt everywhere where everyone else's is walking barefoot on. A change I would like is for them to copy Riveria and have a shoe locker in the hallway before entering lockers and dressing room.
