It is wonderful to find a Vietnamese ophthalmologist, Dr. Huy Ly, in the area. Especially one that is a glaucoma specialist! He is Fantastic and is monitoring me as a suspect. I feel so relieved after seeing him. I also got wonderful pair of glasses from Dr Nguyen. This is first time I did not buy a pair from Costco, and the quality and clarity of the glasses from Winston Eye Care blows Costco out of the water!
I needed a new prescription for contact lenses, so I made an appointment for Thursday at 0900 for a vision test. It was busy as usual, so there was a bit of a wait. The staff again was really friendly and got you from station to station pretty quickly. I like how they are pretty thorough and make you do some other tests on the different machines instead of just sitting you down right away to do the vision test. This place changes Doctors a lot it seems, so this time I was seen by Dr. Soltani. She was really friendly and knowledgeable and really took the time to explain and answer all of my questions. There were a lot of patients waiting, but I liked how she didn't seem to rush me out of there like I have seen other places do when they're really busy. The staff at the eye wear and contacts section was also very knowledgeable and friendly. Took a little longer than expected, but this was another good trip to the eye doctor.
The techs here are amazing and wonderful to interact with. They move quickly but still maintain a high level of personalized care. I've seen their retina specialist (who I see yearly) and their optometrist and everything has been great. The front desk has always been prompt with answering the phone but I did have to wait a few months for my eye appointment this time around.
