I am SO torn. Half the ladies here were very sweet, and the other half were loud and raucous. My nails are nice and my toes are okay also. Pros: Gel manicure was meticulous and included cuticle care and a light massage, hot hand towel and lotion. Cons: The hot towel was a MICROFIBER towel rag like the bright yellow ones you get from home depot. Not like a Norwex. I found this odd, and had never encountered it. The towel was an off color yellow. The small nail buffer was used, definitely. I couldn't tell where the metal tools were coming from as they were not outwardly labeled, so I worried about that too. the bowl liner that the technician placed on the bowl was ill fitting and only stayed on because she latched it on the knobs of the bowl on the sides. At this point, I know, WHY THE HAY DID I STAY? I'm not sure but I was already invested. weirdest CON: 3 NAIL colors that I chose, both for gel and regular polish, were unavailable. The 4th one was available but when she opened it up, it was chunky. I know salons do this, but it was so gross and off putting that she did this in front of me: a second lady approaches and took the nail polish bottle, tossed in some acetone, shook it up, put a toothpick in, and put it back in the packaging. Most people know this is to revive the color and stretch it for a little bit, but it also compromises the nail polish bit by bit. Anyway, yuck. In short, I don't think this place is clean. It is small, and outdated and messy and there are nails/nail hooks on the wall where decor used to be. I most definitely wont come back. I still tipped 20% because I'm not an animal but yeah, never again.
This was my 2ne visit and it's just another nail salon talking sh*t in Vietnamese about me thinking I don't understand them. 2 stars instead of 1 since the first time was fine and they used a timer for the foot massage.
Went in for a pedicure for some self care, no appointment they took me right away. Daysy did my pedicure and it was amazing she took her time and I got the expensive pedicure ($37 great price) will definitely be returning!!
