I’m very happy with this office. April is very friendly, responsive, and super organized and Dr. Kim knows her stuff but more importantly, she listens and adjusts the treatment accordingly. I’ve had experiences with other doctors (mainly chiropractors) who do the same treatment no matter what you tell them. I’ve had 18 sessions so far and I can honestly say I’ve experienced vast improvement over the past 2-3 months. My coccyx pain went from 7/10 to 3/10. I have much better range of motion (was bordering on frozen shoulder) in my left shoulder and definitely a lot less pain. When my Kaiser doctor recommended acupuncture for my spine arthritis and disc degeneration, I chose this JIKO Health as it was it was close to my place of work. Honestly, I did not have much faith in acupuncture and thought it was silly, but I was in such pain that I thought I would give anything a chance. To my surprise, I received significant relief from my pain. Nothing worked for me prior to acupuncture. I'm seriously impressed. The doctor is excellent and I feel really understands my condition. Dr. Kim and April are amazing! I am a D1 track athlete and was diagnosed with a herniated disc and pinched nerve. I was told I would have to medically retire from the sport and that the most physical activity I would be able to do after healing would be light jogging. After months of doctor's appointments, PT, and epidural injections, I was given the option to have surgery or try acupuncture. I tried acupuncture with Dr. Kim and April and I had more progress in one week here than I did all the months of PT and injections.
