The Great American Barbershop

I've been getting my haircut here for about 2 1/2 years, I really enjoy the staff, my only gripe is the music playlist. I personally enjoy music, but something about this playlist makes me feel like the person who put it together is extremely bipolar. One minute you have heavy metal rock, the next minute you've got the SpongeBob theme song and then that rolls into some Frank Sinatra. I asked one of the employees about it and they said "yeah, unfortunately, we don't have any control over that end" . It would seem to me that the employees of the shop should be able to have enough autonomy to put on a Spotify channel or something. I was really happy the last time I went in that they just had a movie playing on low volume and it was so peaceful and nice, but I've only experienced that once. But it is what it is, I will probably just start bringing AirPods‍

I've taken my two boys for haircuts twice here and they have turned out amazing each time! Love the same day appointments, I've never had a problem getting in. Some barbers are better at honoring appointment times than others. But overall, we never had to wait more than 15 minutes so it's nothing to complain about. Overall, very happy with the environment , super welcoming to the kids and clean!

David at The Great American Barbershop is hands-down the best barber my son Apollo has ever had. The worst experience ever!!!

My first haircut ever with them was great...Nate is a very talented barber👍🏻

Always a great experience. With the online check in system, I never have to wait. Stylists always do a great job and I’ve always been pleased with the cut. Top it all off with great music and a good vibe in the chair, and it’s a no-brainer.

What’s the point of making an appointment for a set time when I still have to sit and wait 20+ minutes?

I do not recommend that anybody get a haircut at this establishment. Not only was the haircut terrible but Jake was so rude! I took my little brother to get a haircut and was 2 minutes late because of parking issues. Jake made us feel terrible about it. He kept saying his next appointment was there and was not even listening to what my brother wanted. My brother was already anxious about getting a haircut and Jake just made it so much worse! Another barber noticed how rude he was being and intervened. Luckily, Cameron stepped up and took over. But, it was too late, the damage was done. Jake totally destroyed my brother's hair. Cameron did what he could and was very nice and respectful, so we appreciate him so much.
