This is an update from my last review. I visited the clinic on January 12. The appointment was for 10:15. The parking lot is an issue at mid morning, no question. The waiting room for 6 doctors was packed and I waited well over an hour to see my doctor. Ordinarily those two issues would invite a lower ranking. But, the uniformed staff is consistently polite and professional and pleasant and that makes up for the inconveniences noted. The clincher here is my doctor, Dr. Kinney. He's a genuinely nice person. I watched him escort elderly patient to the front counter and wish her a safe journey home. He was especially attentive to the mother of a child he'd just seen who was clearly shaken by whatever the young child's diagnosis was. As for my session he offered sound advice for saving money on reading glasses. The biggest takeaway was his reassurance that some of my eye issue complaints are age related and normal and that some of these issues are best handled by sucking it up. Sometimes we need to be told to get a grip. Thank you for that Dr. Kinney.
This review is entirely based on the Lens and Frame shop in the Main Lobby. The wait time to see someone is terrible. I waited for an hour and finally had to leave before seeing someone. I know it takes a lot of time gathering insurance info and picking out your glasses, but there should be more than three people helping everyone when you have a lobby full of waiting customers. Please staff accordingly. I'm sure you are probably aware of this already as everyone waiting seemed a little annoyed. The Staff working behind the counters are wonderful though. Always very helpful and kind. Not at all their fault for the delays.
