After going to numerous therapy clinics for many years, I finally found this place. I have been through numerous surgeries and treatments in the last few years. No place has been as good as this place. I have been going here for a few months and the treatment here has improved my quality of life as no other place. My therapist is mainly Lupita and sometimes Amber. They don’t just treat the place of pain but also all the places that are related to it. I love the treatment provided here. I received care from Shirley years ago after a work-related accident, and I trust her. This past February I began acupuncture with Elena Perez at McWilliams Acupuncture, and through her skill with needles, God changed my life. I have a history of head trauma, and prior to treatment with Elena, I could only stay awake 5-6 hours during the day and this after taking 300 mg of caffeine! I also experienced headaches and pain. To date, after 10 years, I have no specific diagnosis. Following treatment with Elena, I am now awake all day, every day, and pain and headaches are almost non-existent. I am incredibly grateful.
Every acupuncturist here is amazing and each one has a different style. If you're afraid of needles, like me, start with Shirley or Elena. They're practicing Monday through Thursday. If you're not afraid, and/or prefer a slightly more intense style, see Lee on Saturdays (and sometimes during the week). I've conquered my fear and now love Lee soooooooo much! All three offer extremely effective and helpful treatment. Do not expect a completely pain free experience with acupuncture, but if you breathe and relax it really helps release tension and ease pain immediately. I always leave feeling relaxed and loose.
