Central California Ear Nose & Throat Medical Group (CCENT) provides ear, nose, and throat care. Patients praise the group's efficiency, with appointments available sooner than at some hospitals. Doctors, such as Dr. Kerr, are commended for their expertise and ability to explain procedures clearly. CCENT also offers custom-made earplugs, created using foam molded to the shape of the ear. Patients report these earplugs work exceptionally well and express overall satisfaction with the group's services. Dr. Kerr is kind, attentive, and honest, and his surgical work is excellent. The surgical center staff were sweet, thorough, and helpful. While the front office staff could improve their friendliness and communication, CCENT offers exceptional care from its providers.
Amazing voice therapist Jodi, however, the people who operate the phones have been very unprofessional and rude. They also make you wait on hold forever despite being the only one waiting. If you can get past some not-good employees to get to the great doctors and therapists, this place isn't bad.
I felt compelled to leave a review for CCENT, the surgery center and Dr. Kerr since there aren't many and several were bad. I came in for chronic congestion (that allergy meds failed to help) and Dr. Kerr took one look and said I have turbinate hypertrophy and a deviated septum that could be dealt with in one surgery. Life happened and it took about a year to get scheduled, I am 6 days post-op and Dr. Kerr just removed the stents a few hours ago. Those 6 days were extremely unpleasant, not from any pain but from congestion, lack of sleep and an inability to blow my nose. Right now I am breathing better than I can remember my whole life (I'm 53). It truly is amazing! Dr. Kerr and all the nurses and staff at CCENT and the surgery center were friendly and supportive, I couldn't have asked for anything better. I pray the benefits of this surgery are permanent and will post a follow up in 6 months to a year. If you're having the same issue don't hesitate to have it done and ask for Dr. Kerr! I want to give a special shoutout to the surgical center! Everyone was so sweet to me from the moment I went in for my tonsillectomy to the moment I left. I appreciated how thorough and helpful they all were. I want to give a huge thank you to the nurse named Laura who helped me in the recovery center. She was so sweet and gentle and made sure I got out of there feeling okay. I'm now at home after a long post surgery nap and feeling pretty okay considering. Definitely a great experience.
