About Valero Car Wash
Valero Car Wash offers a powerful wash with plenty of soap, making it a great choice for SUV owners in the Fremont area. However, it is not a touchless car wash, which may lead to micro scratches. Customers have noted long wait times, approximately 45-50 minutes, especially during peak hours. While it is one of the few touch-free options available, the wash does not thoroughly clean the lower sides of the car. The automatic dryer has a shorter drying time of 50 seconds and may not effectively dry the sides, leading to some dissatisfaction. Despite these issues, it remains an affordable option.
Doesn’t accept credit card. The sign says “press help button to have someone come to you if you want to pay by card”. But that help button is disabled or whatever, no one comes.
We ended up waiting in the line for some time and then moved out without washing car as we didn’t have exact cash. Yeah that’s another thing, it only accept cash and you have to have the exact cash, it doesn’t give you the balance back to you.
- Each car wash takes good amount of time, so our wait time was pretty high too.
- Add a board that you don’t accept card and we need exact cash
For the price, you’d be okay with what you get. The dryer is not great. To get a uniform wash, make sure you drive right at the center of the wash alley because the automated machines are not that smart.
People inside will guide you in case this is your first time (like me). They are checking everything is fine when you start washing your car.
I was able to wash my car at 10pm (yes, it's opened 24hrs). The process was really smooth and fast. It took like 8min to finish.
Make sure you pay attention to all the instructions once you start.
