My mom’s friend recommended this place, and I’d say if you are under 40 years old, find someplace else. I got a curled perm, and I showed them a picture of what I wanted, and ended up getting way tighter & smaller curls than what I was originally hoping for. I don’t think bringing in a picture is very helpful at least for a curled perm, because my guess is that they just have a limited amount of tools, and they simply did not have the right rod size & tools to achieve the bigger & looser curls I wanted.

After my barber retired, I was lucky to stumble upon this place. All the hairstylists here are very friendly and skillful. I have used both Shelly and David to cut my hair in recent times and they do it exactly the way I like it. It does get busy on the weekends so I prefer to go during weekdays when they aren't as busy.
Whenever I need a haircut, coloring, or simply some trimming, I can always trust David at Mona Lisa. He is detail oriented, patient, and he really cares about customers' experiences. Highly recommend!
