I was looking to change my hair and wanted a queer/queer-friendly hair stylist. I found Marty online and booked a Deluxe Hair Transformation appointment. I am so happy! Marty is amazing! She is a true hair artist and I felt so listened to and welcome. Her space is calm and private, parking is easy, and she is fun to talk to. I will definitely be coming back!

Marty is an absolute gem. I reached out to them over text and got a prompt response on what services were available, and whether they could satisfy what sort of cut I was looking for. Even with my vague direction and references, Marty was able to feel out and deliver impeccably. I am so happy with my cut (I have long black asian hair, so rest assured if you’re looking for someone who can see the full picture, I feel like Marty definitely can) and I will definitely be coming back regularly to maintain! I have been going to Melissa for years and I absolutely love the way she cuts my hair. I like to experiment and get lots of different styles, and she always listens to what I want and it comes out perfectly. She is also amazing with color (and sometimes my hair does weird things with color lol). She is always patient and knowledgable on how to make the color work with my hair. Her environment is calming and private, and I always love catching up with her. I highly recommend her!
