We were so delighted with our portrait that Joanna produced for my Mother-in-Law’s 80th Birthday this year!
She worked from a small selection of photos that we provided of Jackie and as well as creating a most perfect likeness, she was able to inject beautiful creative emblems in the backdrop which emulate Jackie’s vibrant and colourful personality so brilliantly.
My Mother-in-law’s reaction was priceless!!! She was in tears and couldn’t believe that someone had painted such a beautiful likeness of her.
Joanna is an extremely talented artist and her work is a beautifully delicate dance between technical accuracy and abstract creativity. There is a feeling of other worldliness to her work and it is wonderful to experience her paintings.
It was a pleasure working with Joanna to produce this piece and her communication with us during all the various stages was excellent! We won’t hesitate to contact Joanna in the future should we be in need of another portrait painting.
