She worked from a small selection of photos that we provided of Jackie and as well as creating a most perfect likeness, she was able to inject beautiful creative emblems in the backdrop which emulate Jackie’s vibrant and colourful personality so brilliantly. My Mother-in-law’s reaction was priceless!!! She was in tears and couldn’t believe that someone had painted such a beautiful likeness of her. Joanna is an extremely talented artist and her work is a beautifully delicate dance between technical accuracy and abstract creativity. There is a feeling of other worldliness to her work and it is wonderful to experience her paintings. It was a pleasure working with Joanna to produce this piece and her communication with us during all the various stages was excellent!
