I couldn't recommend SHS more highly. Matt made a personal visit to assess our needs and took the time to get a clear picture of the situation. Susan, the caregiver he sent, was an excellent house cleaner, and, after finishing the work we'd identified, took it on herself to find and complete additional tasks. As our needs diminished over time, Matt was prompt in adjusting the scheduled hours. He runs a fair, effective, and caring organization.
About a year ago, our family needed to find some assistance for my 90-year-old dad and his wife. Dad has short-term memory loss as well as issues with staying hydrated. We wanted someone who could make sure Dad was drinking fluids in the morning, help him get some exercise, and provide social stimulation as well. We were interested in Seniors Helping Seniors initially because they would send someone for 2 hours/day, while most other services required a 4-hour minimum visit.
