My daughter had problems with her '99 Jeep Wrangler passing smog at a smog/repair shop in the Escondido area the shop wasn't able to pinpoint the issue the Jeep was having. Took it over to West Escondido Automotive & Transmission on a Thursday and that afternoon they had the problem figured out and the Jeep was ready and passing smog on the following Monday. Big thanks to Danny and the mechanics at West Escondido Automotive & Transmission.

I brought my GMC 3500HD dually in for A/C inspection. They provided a free 40 point inspection, as well. The A/C required a proper recover, vacuum/leak check, and recharge by weight, rather than just “adding Freon.” they found nothing wrong with system, thankfully, but that labor still cost something and they gave me a great discount! I also asked for a coolant flush at another very reasonable price and when they came and picked me up to get my truck, it was freshly washed! I'm pretty sure this truck won't be going to any other mechanic shop!

Great customer service. Drove me home 20 miles away after drop off. Offered to come pick me up when finished. Fast diagnosis and repair. Ran down everything checked and how they came to the conclusion. Fair price. Employees appear to be happy working there.
