The main draw to this place is the price.

I’ve been to a lot of Asian massage places and this one is truly a Chinese cultural experience… and here’s what I mean by that:

(Also before anyone attacks me- I’m not being racist. I’m Chinese myself so I’m quite familiar with the culture)

Ok so first of all their goal is to just get you in & out of there as soon as possible. Their pure goal is just to take your money.

I got there and felt so rushed by the front desk lady. Incredibly efficient. But not relaxing.

So if you’re looking for a gentle, nervous system regulating, relaxing place… this is NOT it. If you’re looking for someone to work on you like they’re tenderizing chicken… this place IS IT! 😂

I’m giving 4 stars because it actually did help with the shoulder pain i was having… and the massage therapist listened to my request and really put her elbow grease in there.

She was definitely on a mission.

She was just rough. Felt more like a car wash than a massage. But she was determined to get the knot out!

I find that with a lot of Chinese massage therapists in general, they’re not really tuning into your body… they’re just focused on following the motions and getting the job done.

She was not concerned with my comfort at all. In fact as she was “tenderizing” me, she would just carelessly place the massage oil bottle between my legs in a rough manner.. and then when we moved onto cupping she straight up just put the freakin box on my legs!

I asked her to get it off me & put the box on the massage table right next to us…

I mean, what??? 😂 why would u even do that!?

I’m giving it 4 stars cuz again, it wasn’t a bad massage & I don’t believe they mean any harm. In fact they’re incredibly authentic and I find that funny & entertaining.

But just don’t expect American manners or anything remotely close to a relaxing spa experience.
