As a new pup owner, I wanted to make sure my puppy was set up to be a good canine and companion. I reached out to Allison to learn more about the board and train program and she instantly put me at ease, she runs a great model of training one pup a time in her home with her family and pets (unlike some programs where there are multiple dogs being trained at the same time). Allison was able to focus on a few key things I was hoping to have addressed, as well as teaching my pup the basic commands and reinforcing potty training. We recently adopted a rescue husky from the shelter. Without knowing what we got ourselves into, we panicky reached out to multiple trainers we can find through friends and Yelp. Debby did the initial intake with us and came to visit the dog. We loved her right away. She is so knowledgeable and so patient with all the questions and issues we may have. We are about 3 sessions in with her and we've learned so much about huskies and rescue dogs and ways to work around the dogs personality or things that may trigger her anxiety etc as we don't know much about the dogs past history. Our dog has improved so much that our neighbors have all commented on her progress!!!
Still love Peticularly Perfect, they narrowed their focus to training instead of pet care and I ended up using them for some issues we were having for our 1.5 year old dog. She was trained extensively as a puppy but we lost her 6yo brother suddenly and discovered she had used him as her gauge about who should or should not be in the house - we suddenly had a growly dog whenever visitors came over.We worked with Dakota on improving Ariel's attitude toward visitors at our home and she did a great job encouraging Ariel to be confident with visitors and like their presence - even having several of her friends and family members come over to increase Ariel's exposure which...read full review
