This is a great Cemetary. The people that work there are so accommodating. From planning to burial they we're professional, compassionate and patient. Fast forward 6 years later and I still enjoy visiting my Father here. And while visiting I needed a little help and an employee named Spencer reinforced my faith with Oak Hill. His warm greeting and over the top helpfulness made smile on a day that's usually filled with sorrow. So thank you Spencer you're a great representative of Oak Hill and hopefully you get recognized for being an excellent employee.
My best friend and I visited Oak Hill Memorial Park on January 17, 2024. Both our families have family members buried there as we grew up in Escondido. We have always loved Oak Hill Cemetery, but in the last few years the gophers had overrun the place and they were unsettling the headstones. When we returned on 1/17/24 the gophers were gone! Everything around the headstones looked well maintained and tended to. We were so surprised and delighted! We even went to the Manager's Office to let them know how pleased we were. I visited on Christmas day 2023 and too my surprise the place looked really good. I usually have to pull weeds and clean the headstones but not this time. I do want to note that this is the first time in 7 years that it has looked decent.
