I am so glad that I found Archie's Doors and Cabinets! I am so thrilled with the results! They are stunning and beautiful. Archie was professional and reliable, and communicative through out the whole process. He even gave ideas for our new kitchen on how we can better customize and remodel it. We did cabinet refacing and wanted a custom refrigerator surround, and his quote was the best that we found. But his communication and knowledge was what solidified the deal. Archie is a proven professional in the cabinet business, exactly as he had described himself to us when he came to our home to prepare an estimate for defacing our cabinets. We are so glad we approved that estimate and hired his company to not only beautify our cabinets, but also to build in a custom alderwood cabinet for our dining area. He always arrives on time, and they stayed on schedule throughout the project. We love the medium and extra large heavy duty drawers that replaced the hard to reach lower cabinets, and the custom drawers added in prior unusable spaces. I'll start by saying I can not speak regarding Archie's craftsmanship or quality. We did not get that far. What I can speak to is his poor management skills and lack of punctuality. Here is my experience:We made an initial appointment for cabinet inspection. He later canceled "because of rain". I'm not a contractor, but I'm guessing kitchen cabinet inspections happen indoors? (1st red flag, I know)He texted me a possible back up date and time, but I called and verbally agreed to an alternate date. He showed up on his suggested date anyway and left a business card on doorstep. No message, no call, nothing. I waited for him to arrive on our... read full review
