I've been trying to see my primary doctor, Dr. Hernandez, since May 18th for bleeding in my brain. On the day of my appointment, he left the clinic without informing me. He worked in the morning and left Burrego in the afternoon. I had been in the hospital ICU for brain bleeding, and my neurosurgeon told me to see my primary doctor as soon as possible. After calling Centro Médico Escondido many, many times and not being able to make an emergency appointment, they sent me an appointment via text message without even checking if I could make it that day. Desperate to get my referrals set up, I made it to the appointment. Sadly, Dr. Hernandez left the clinic without canceling my appointment. He works in the morning and leaves in the afternoon. If it was an emergency, the front desk should have called me to reschedule. I have been waiting for a whole month for an emergency appointment. When I called over the phone, I said I would take any doctor available as soon as possible. I am so disappointed with this center. The front desk staff are rude and act like nothing happened. I kept telling her this is an emergency, but she still rescheduled me for next month July 18th!! So, wait time for an emergency appointment is two months in Cento Medico Escondido!! I will definitely change my Burrego.

Ufffff lo peor de lo peor no se puede encontrar, este , mal llamado centro medico es una cueva de ladrones y de seudo médicos. fui paciente por muchos años, hasta que mi medico familiar se retiro de este centro, el Dr. Jose Luis Ramirez, una excelente persona y profesional, después entro un mal llamado doctor Hernandez, que solamente se la paso criticando a los demás médicos y a uno también lo criticaba, en fin, me sali de este pésimo servicio medico y ademas las recepcionistas todas TODAS son una falta de empatia al paciente, como si nos hicieran un favor lo mal atienden, el caso es que me llego una factura de mas de $600.00 por servicios prestados, pero desde 2020 hasta el 2022 que fue el ano en que me retire. llame a mi aseguranza y me dice que Borrego facturo mal que puso mal los códigos y que no es correcto ese monto, que solamente tendría que pagar menos de $200.00 esto fue desde el pasado diciembre del 2023 llame a Borrego y me dicen que van a revisar que me mandaría la factura corregida, me llego nuevamente una factura idéntica de mas de $600.00 llamo nuevamente y me dicen, que van a revisar, llamo a mi seguro y me dicen lo mismo. y el día de hoy mayo 7 2024 llame nuevamente y un tal Carlos me contesta lo mismo, esta en revisión tiene que esperar de 45 a 90 días para que su factura corregida le sea enviada, . llama uno a relaciones con el paciente al 888-895-9521 y es para dejar correo de voz y nunca le regresan la llamada, horrible, NO VALLAN A ESTA CLÍNICA, NO, NO SERÁN BIEN ATENDIDOS Y LES COBRARAN DE MAS EN ALGUNOS ANOS CUIDADO!!!!

Very very incompetent in this place. I bring my mother in law to have a Lab Test done; She is diabetic and even though her doctor and the laboratory technician know it, they make her wait up to hours without eating or drinking anything. Very negligent and lacking in humanity. Nobody cares about you in this place. Please do not come to this place; not a good option here; And besides, it's not free at all. I write it in Spanish because there are more Spanish speakers who come to this place. I'm definitely going to find another place for her.

Worst customer service experience my family has ever had. Son was turned away from care due to their input error, sent him away scared to death, without seeing him. Asked for a manager, would not give me a name. They gave me a complaint number, nobody called back. This is your health we're talking about.

I never knew about this clinic until my insurance changed and this office was recommended. I've worked in healthcare nearly 30 years and I'm very impressed at how caring and professional all of the staff are (doctors, nurses, and the front office).No matter how busy they become, they NEVER treat you like a gear in a machine (unlike many HMO's I used to go to).Which is why I don't understand the negative reviews.They all work very hard to get you seen and taken care of as fast as possible.Bottom line is that they genuinely care about helping you.

Just an update. After not receiving a single bill from this office for 3 years, I just got one in the mail for over $1,000. I'd always ask if I had a copay or owed anything and the front office would just say "if you owe anything they'll bill you" I guess it just takes them a while. I left a message for the manager to call me back, that was last week and surprise surprise, no one's followed up. This place is a total joke.
