This is the place to contact when you need help after the loss of a loved one. They provide information in a quick and responsible manner, treat one with respect, and provide honest, forthright service and answers. I feel they went above and beyond in a difficult situation.
The gal at California Funeral Alternatives who helped me was very compassionate, kind, helpful, professional, and caring. She did an excellent job.
On another note, however, because I had not been able to be with my loved one at his passing or see him for a few moments after his passing - as medical examiner whisked his body away under a sealed body bag and a tarp, I asked California Funeral Alternatives if I - by myself - could please see him one last time for a few minutes before he was to be cremated. Policy was a charge of $395 - even for a few minutes. I could not afford $395 for a few minutes. Sad.
From the start California Funeral Altrnatives was extremely professional and kind. Both Kourtney and Amber were so helpful and responsive to all of our questions and issues we had. This is the kind of business you never want to need, but they sure made it much easier to navigate. Thank you to you both with our utmost gratitude.
