Edit: I decided to change to 4 star from a 1 star. After cooling down a bit, this location has seen me before and they generally seem to know what they're doing. Their tech staff can be a little quick and a little over zealous with the instrument that touches your eyeball, but otherwise it is a quick and efficient operation and I don't really have any real complaints with their in house staff. Their third party scheduling center is not anything to be impressed by and I think that should definitely change, I feel it is all too common in the medical field for schedulers to be terrible at knowing who and what to schedule the patient for.
My first eye exam and subsequent surgery went well. However the second visit and planned surgery went way off the tracks. I had the second exam and didn’t get a solid time for the second sergury. Sonja told me they would call me with the exact time before the surgery. However I did not hear back the day before my scheduled surgery. I called the day before, the girl that answered to me that Sonja was not in the office that day. So I asked her what time was my surgery scheduled for. She said it was scheduled for 5:00 AM. the next morning. I was surprised by her response, thinking they don’t open till 7:30 AM…! Silvia and Ana were so kind to speak to my dads insurance who messed up and claimed he had received an eye exam when he hadn’t. Even with a busy lobby they called the insurance company which is unheard of!!! Busy places usually don’t have the time to dedicate to their patients but you all did!! The insurance company admitted it was their fault and Ana got on the phone again to get it straightened out. Thank you!!!
