I've been coming here a few times and I'm very impressed of how Sandy, owner, is so patient and caring for your hair. She attends to one customer at a time. You will be the only one here. Not the usual salons with many ladies waiting. She takes her time with your hair and advise you of how to take care of it at home. I truly believe she cares about her customers. I highly recommend her. I get a re-touch every 3 to 4 months. This is the place to be if you want healthy hair. God bless you! 🙏💝
I'm in LA often and for a long period and I prefer to have my hair straight for low maintenance. On one of my long walks, I was able to talk to Sandy and she gave me her card to make an appointment. I did call and left a message to make my appointment. The owner's husband called me to set it up. However, from talking to her, she recommends to message her via Instagram @809dominicanbeautycenter for appointments. While I was there, my aunt decided to also get her hair done. She really washed our hair thoroughly. We opted for deep conditioning. Then she set our hair in rollers, blew it out when it was dried and trimmed our ends. Super friendly and professional. I had a great experience for the first time there. It’s been difficult finding a Dominican salon in California. I love the care and time Sandy took to bring my hair back to health.
