I started my 4 year old here about two months ago. He loves it and we love it also. He is learning discipline, self-defense, but most importantly the community with this group is absolutely fantastic. The instructors are great with kids and you can tell that they care about everyone who is part of the gym.

I first started my GB journey back in 2019, yep, right before. What a great experience that was. The first time on the mat as a new white belt took me back to my wrestling years. Yet, for a variety of reasons, I had to end my journey early. My gi hung in my closet, but I kept telling myself one day. One day is now. Life changed, giving me the opportunity to start again. Jiu-jitsu is a fantastic workout, a mentally challenging sport, and a great way to start the day. The people at GB Encinitas are supportive and caring.
