The Dr. is very professional and she helped me greatly with my back pain, when my back went out last month. Two treatments and I was already feeling better. I would reccomend this clinic for treatment and with any kind of acupuncture, it will take more than one treatment to get results. I have seen other negative reviews on Yelp and most insurances do not cover accupuncture, and it is expensive so its important to discuss costs and types of treatments before scheduling an appointments. Also I did not care for cupping and it does leave marks so if your skin is sensitive I would avoid this.

Real deal! I rarely write reviews, but I'm writing this one because of the negative reviews -- and since there hasn't been a review in four years. I had Dr. Wan, who it's in the El Cerrito office Mondays and Fridays. He's exactly what I was looking for. He has 50 years of experience, including 30 years of teaching acupuncture; he learned in China. I guess if you're not used a place that's not like a spa or doctors office, it might not be for you. I don't mind that his English isn't perfect. I said sciatica, and he knew just what to do. He was also very nice and sympatheti

I had an excellent experience. Mae was able to help tremendously with some acute back pain that had recently developed. She was knowledgeable and friendly. I'm definitely going back!
