Wan was very gentle and attentive to my condition and my needs. I was assured not to worry, the practice helped my back pain tremendously. He’s a good man. And thorough.

The Dr. is very professional and she helped me greatly with my back pain, when my back went out last month. Two treatments and I was already feeling better. I would reccomend this clinic for treatment and with any kind of acupuncture, it will take more than one treatment to get results. I have seen other negative reviews on Yelp and most insurances do not cover accupuncture, and it is expensive so its important to discuss costs and types of treatments before scheduling an appointments. Also I did not care for cupping and it does leave marks so if your skin is sensitive I would avoid this.

Real deal! I rarely write reviews, but I'm writing this one because of the negative reviews -- and since there hasn't been a review in four years. I had Dr. Wan, who it's in the El Cerrito office Mondays and Fridays. He's exactly what I was looking for. He has 50 years of experience, including 30 years of teaching acupuncture; he learned in China. I guess if you're not used a place that's not like a spa or doctors office, it might not be for you.
