I have known Zoe for some time, she's an intelligent, thoughful and charismatic person, and most importantly, a person who cares about what she's doing. This is the kind of thing that I always look for, because my daughter has a good sense of style, and even though she's reasonable about getting what she wants, its not always easy to make that happen in beauty salons.
First off, the stylists have to make a living, keep things moving, second, they say they'll layer your hair, or whatever you ask for, but does it happen?...not necessarily, and that's the reason Zoe is now the only person we see.

My hair is over 75% gray and the gray hair will NOT hold color (countless stylists, who only do color, couldn’t make it stay)!
I decided to let it be its own lovely silvery gray, but 3/4 of it was mostly brown with auburn highlights.
Zoe did a * fantastic* job of putting highlights on the hair that was not gray, so that there is no line of demarcation and it looks really great!
She also did a great job of cutting my hair, and the layering was very expertly done!
I also should add that Zoe has a very sweet personality and is a very interesting person!
Finally, Zoe is very reasonably priced and really cares about the work that she does.

I left Zoe’s chair feeling seen. She gets alternative, metal, and rock styles in a way that feels authentic, not forced. She listens deeply, takes even half-formed ideas, and transforms them into something intentional and beautiful.
