About El Cerrito Veterinary Care

El Cerrito Veterinary Care is a full-service veterinary clinic that provides top-notch care for pets. The clinic is especially known for the exceptional care provided by Dr. Kriensky, who has been the main reason many pet owners choose this place. She is very kind, patient, and thorough, asking follow-up questions and double-checking her exams to ensure pets are healthy. Pet owners appreciate her intensive care and highly recommend her. The staff up front is friendly and welcoming, with technicians who are sweet and gentle, especially when handling shots or temperature checks. The atmosphere is positive and makes for a good experience. The clinic offers a range of services including wellness care, dental care, surgery, and emergency care. Customers also value that the clinic accepts Care Credit, making pet care more affordable. While the doctors, particularly Dr. Kriensky and Dr. Buttar, are highly praised, some staff members have been noted to be less competent or unconcerned, which affects overall satisfaction. Despite this, the clinic remains a trusted and recommended choice for pet owners in the Bay Area.

My neighbors French bulldog got ahold of a fishing hook and it got stuck in his mouth :( I started calling around and was panicked because it was almost 6pm and the few places I called before were not helpful and would not take a new pet. When I called el Cerrito veterinary care Lexy answered and was so calm and helpful. She said it was late and they were going to close soon but she would ask the doctor. The doctor Heather said she would see yodi and asked us to get there ASAP. Heather was amazing she explained what was the best process to remove the hook and assured us that he was in good hands. While I sat in the waiting area for yodi Lexy was cleaning up around the clinic and I appreciate how clean everything was especially with covid. Heather finished the procedure within 30 min. Lexi explained what to expect after care and his meds in great detail and also let me know if I had any questions to please call. This clinic is the best thank you heather and Lexi for making a scary situation as calm and painless as possible for yodi and us. We appreciate you beyond words. Heather and Lexy our hero’s 🥰👏🏽
