“Wendy's nails had been around a longgggg time! A local staple. None of the frills, very basic but excellent service. She does nails, her focus is on making sure your hands and feet are in tip top condition, not nail designs. She does all the things other salons charge you extra for! It's just Wendy and her husband Kevin working as a duo team in this salon. Been coming here since I was 15 and I'm 35 now. A few weeks ago I came here to get my nails done for a wedding, I was in the bridal party and got them done the day before. All of a sudden the power went out, on the whole block, and I told Wendy, I have no choice! You have to finish! So we busted out the flashlights and she finished my nails and instead of gel she found a gel top coat for me. They were perfect and beautiful and only someone with her skill set could finish in the dark, ha! She prides herself on being clean and Covid safe. A lot of us are long time customers that don't want to give her up as a local secret, but... she deserves the patronage. “Diane has been taking care of my hair for more than 40 years (!!) except for periods when we moved out of state (tho even then we -- spouse and I -- occasionally managed appts when we were in town for a visit). I've had to use other salons, especially during those periods, and realize how lucky I've been all these years. Excellent work, reasonable prices, pleasant atmosphere, easy parking.“

“Gorma and her daughter Siah did a wonderful job braiding my hair. It was my first time having my hair braided, and they made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Gorma was very accommodating while booking my appointment. It took the two of them 5 hours, which ended up being faster than I expected, and for a good price. I would definitely come back here in the future!(For other first timers, my scalp was sore for almost a week, but as the braids loosened a bit they began to feel much better and now are comfortable to style, etc. I expect my head would be sore no matter where I had my hair braided.)“
