Owner, Jason of San Diego Footing Repair came over and went under our 1956 house with pier and posts and let us know we were in need of six additional pylons and shimming on others that were not touching. Our foundation had a crack that needed to have substance put in it and a couple of braces. He gave us a highly competitive quote (we interviewed three companies) and was professional and knowledgeable about our foundation, explaining the procedures for repairs in detail. We had an emergency sewer problem almost immediately after his visit and Michele at the office was very understanding about our timeline when we needed to address the other issue first. Michele was always available to answer our questions and was so kind to offer an understanding ear during our sewer repair emergency. Happily the day of our work was even moved up a few weeks before scheduled which we appreciated due to the holiday. Dustin, Hirhm, and Lance - our foundation team, arrived early the day of work and were friendly and professional as they worked quickly and effectively on the only day projecting afternoon rain for months. The team worked tirelessly under our house for over six hours and explained work to us if we had questions. They cleaned up everything very well and even bussed out the two extra pieces from our foundation that had crumbled off. At the end, Dustin took some amazing pictures for us and kept the team working hard with his sunny personality and can do spirit. We have recommended San Diego Footing Repair to our family and friends in need of such services and feel very grateful for their expert work.

We have a 1930 house that needed the foundation repaired. We selected San Diego Footing Repair after reviewing bids from several other companies. Tom Green provided a detailed estimate after inspecting the area under the house as well as the perimeter. The team was excellent to work with. Jason was the foreman and on site for the project. The crews were punctual and cleaned the area daily. The property is a rental and Jason and the crews were sensitive to the noise while communicating with the tenants. Michele is a master coordinating with the City and engineer for inspections, providing contracts and invoices in a timely manner and answering our questions. This was a 6 week project which was completed early. This is an honest company with dedicated staff and hard working crews who take pride in their work. We have and will continue to recommend San Diego Footing Repair.

I met with Tom Greene to get an assessment of my wooden posts under my crawlspace. Many of them are frizzled and damaged from long-term moisture and i was concerned it is a threat to the structural stability of the house. Tom assured me that since the vast majority of the interior part of the posts are undamaged, that the foundation is fine. He recommended that I find a company to fix the moisture problem.Other companies wanted me to replace the wooden posts, presumably to make a sale, but Tom did not take that route.I trust this company. Tom is ethical and knowlegeable.

This is an exceptional company. I have worked with Tom three times over the past 15 years to make repairs on my 1945 house. The first time was when I bought the house and the second was after we did an extensive interior remodel. Most recently, Tom came out to look at some cracks that have been growing in my garage and to look at a concrete slab that is starting to tilt. I had concerns about these being adjacent to our canyon and was expecting to hear that we needed to inject epoxy (at a minimum). Tom allayed my fears, described what was happening, and suggested that, if I wanted to repair the floor, I could do so on my timeframe (it was not urgent) and with a company that would charge substantially less, since I really just need new concrete (rather than his expertise). Not only was he incredibly helpful and honest, he was thoroughly respectful and kind. He also answered my questions about our foundation as we are now going through a large exterior remodel. I cannot recommend this company highly enough!

San Diego Footing Repair is really awesome! They came out for an inspection the day after we called them, and they were so honest - we had a concern with a 1952 slab that had some horizontal cracking visible on the outside. They told us we don't need to worry and that it was only cosmetic and didn't need their services. We really really appreciate their integrity because some other company could easily have scared us into getting repairs we didn't need. Thank you!
