Colleen is the best!! I've only been to her twice and every time she is amazing. She takes great care and attention to her work and genuinely loves her job and cares about her clients. She will be my go-to person for nails until I ever move out of here!

So my daughter has prom at 6 pm. I picked her up from the salon at 2. It is 2:40 and the curls she didn't ask for have fallen and her hair is frizzy. She is crying saying her whole day is ruined and now I am stressed out. I didn't know what style she had asked for or I would have complained right there and then. It was only after we left that she started crying in the car. She showed me the pictures of what she wanted and obviously it doesn't come close. My daughter curls her hair better than the stylist did. I am so sad and stressed seeing her cry. My daughter had to ask the stylist to re curl the hair twice because the first time the hair didn't even curl. I am sure the stylist cuts great hair but why take on a client and say you can do a specific style and not deliver for a special event if she is unable.

I discovered Colleen Alante Hair Designs and Boutique through Groupon and was eager to book an appointment for an upcoming event. Despite reaching out nearly two weeks in advance, my initial contact was met with a polite redirection as Colleen was in the midst of attending to another client--a circumstance I fully understood. In the hopes of securing my preferred time slot, I promptly followed up with a text message after the call, recognizing the challenge of scheduling appointments on desired dates. However, communication thereafter became somewhat challenging. Colleen responded nearly 8 hours later, offering only one available time slot for the requested day, or the option to consider the following Saturday. Promptly replying within minutes, I expressed my eagerness to secure the suggested time slot, yet unfortunately received no response. Despite my efforts to reconnect the following day, I encountered continued silence, prompting a second attempt to reach out. Regrettably, as of the second day, I have yet to receive a response. While I appreciate the initial responsiveness and the challenges of managing a busy schedule, the prolonged delay and lack of follow-up communication have left me feeling disappointed in the booking process.

Took my wife here as part of her birthday gift. Julia, esthetician, was recommended by a co-worker and was FANTASTIC. The shop's decor was charming; and local. The experience played a key role in that evenings gala.Service: Eyebrow threading
