“We needed to refinish our 61 year old red oak floors. Researched who could safely do it. We picked Peninsula Floors and couldn’t be any happier. I have hired a lot of contractors, and she is without a doubt, one of the easiest ones I’ve ever dealt with, she goes the extra mile to make sure things are done the way you want them and interjects her own stylish ideas to the mix…. After my bathroom radiant heat flooded my subfloor and walls, I had to rip everything out and rebuild after mold treatment. Other than dealing with insurance, finding a contractor that was fair, professional, and customer focused was the hardest part of the whole ordeal. Once I had Otto and his crew at OJ Tile in the game, everything changed from a stalled demo project into a getting things done bathroom rebuild.

Otto also had the connections and industry knowledge to help guide me through everything, while also perfectly accommodating my specific requests and steering me away from bad ideas. “We had Western Hardwood replace the carpets in three bedrooms with hardwood, and refinish the hardwood in the rest of the house. In addition, they installed a challenging hardwood staircase. This work required us to clear the entire house. The workers were very accommodating and professional. The floors look great, even better than we expected. After installing the hardwood, they replaced all the baseboards, caulked and cleaned up. Nhu Nguyen, Friday Dinh, and the entire work crew demonstrated high skill and professional performance. “Our 22-year-old wood floors had water and sun damage, along with usual wear and tear, especially in our kitchen. The DG crew replaced the damaged boards, sanded and applied finish to the remaining rooms and hallway. The results were beyond our expectations--it looked as if all the floors were newly installed. The crew was also careful in covering cupboards and built-ins with plastic, which kept dust to a minimum. Their pricing was fair for what they accomplished--we couldn't be more pleased.“

“Ernesto and the guys at Authentic Tile-Floor-Granite were amazing. We had a plumbing issue which led to water damage on the lower floor. They fixed the drywall, installed electrical, baseboard, matched paint and texture. They also helped us restore our bathroom including replacing outlet entire shower. Ernesto helped us replace tile in our kitchen and hallway as well as changing our damaged carpet to wood (I think it’s stone with a wood finish, but it’s beautiful!)

Ernesto’s communication throughout was great, giving us almost daily updates and making sure we were a part of the process. He found us great options and alternatives that kept us within our expected budget and left us feeling overjoyed with the results.

“We had Trevor quote removing the carpet and refinishing our hardwood floor. He gave a more thorough explanation of what he would do than the other companies that quoted. Norberto did most of the work over a period of a week and the results are stunning. They replaced the oak baseboards, matched the stain color that we had in the remainder of the house and put three coats of clear finish on the floor. They helped us move furniture out of the two rooms and put it back after the floor had fully dried. Norberto and his coworker Chenjo were very careful not to damage any of our furniture or our ceramic tile floor adjacent to the hardwood floor.“
